Scope of the union

1. The Postal Workers Union is recruiting and has members in the Postal and Courier Industry. Our main focus has been to establish our self in the Postal Industry, specifically the SA Post Office.
2. The second phase of our total onslaught is to capture the Courier Industry and consolidate the members in that sector.

Our union offers a comprehensive benefit to members, which include the following;

1. Representations for internal disciplinary hearings
2. Representations in grievance hearings
3. Representations at CCMA and Labour Court
4. Funeral Benefits ( Cover ) to the value of R 10,000-00
5. Bargaining on behalf of members
6. Representation at strategic company forums
7. Salary Increase of 7%
8. Collective bargaining on behalf of members
9. Salary Backdate to 1st April
10. Increase in transport allowance
11. Increase in housing subsidy
12. Job security ( 2013-14)
13. Reinstatement of Accidental death cover
